Krista's Birthday

As it is Krista's birthday today, I am taking over her blog to write a very over the top and sappy birthday post. Not really, but really.

Seeing how Krista is the greatest woman in the entire world, the boys and I did our best to make her feel special. We kicked-off the day by showing her the following video we made just for her:

Actually, the real video is one song longer, but it was too long to post the whole thing and it was for her and not for you so deal with it. Anyway, she loved it. She got a little verclempt and misty eyed as she watched it (as I am sure you did too, mom). It was a good start to the day. Hard to beat making the birthday girl cry before breakfast.

Then we transitioned to the business side of things as we headed off to get passport pictures made for E and to take him to the Immigration Doctor (standard procedure, all is well we think). Then it was back to celebrating the most magnificent woman to ever grace this planet, which we did in style at a great restaurant here called, Cafe Java. We ate until we could not eat any longer than then we had a brownie Sunday. I am pretty sure E was in heaven, but I know Camp was. He actually picked up the bowl afterwards and drank all the melted ice cream that was left. He knows how to make a father proud.

After lunch we headed back to the casa for some much needed rest. After a nice nap we had some time as a family and took some fun pictures of the most beautiful woman in the universe with her cute boys. Here are some samples...

It was a fun day celebrating Krista. All three men in her life feel incredibly blessed to get to spend days like this, as well as every other day, with her. E still has no idea that he won the mom lottery, but he will figure it out soon. He already lights up when she walks into the room and gives a great "mommy!" greeting. He is definitely falling in love. And for good reasons...I mean she is awesome. She loves God, loves her family, serves others and is willing to do whatever in the world God asks her to do, which is really hot. In addition, she loves adventures, and we are definitely on one now, and it's a blast.

What can I say, I love that I get to be married to this woman and I love our life together. (I told you this would be sappy.) I can't wait to see what God has in store of us in this next year of her life. Maybe we should do something else crazy like plant a church...
